Job Summary:
The Heating and Boiler Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and boiler systems. This includes troubleshooting malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring systems are operating efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various heating and boiler systems, excellent diagnostic skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain heating and boiler systems, including gas, oil, and electric systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on heating and boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Communicate effectively with customers, explain technical issues and provide recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Heating and Boiler Technician (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of various heating and boiler systems, including gas, and electricity.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.-Required
• Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.- Desired
• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor. .- Preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.- Required
