Small Brooklyn accounting and tax office is seeking a knowledgeable professional to assist clients with Social Security retirement and initial SSDI (disability) applications.
This is a per-case, 1099 contractor position — not hourly or salary.
What the role involves:
• Helping clients file or verify their Social Security retirement benefits
• Preparing and submitting initial SSDI applications (no legal representation or appeal work)
• Ensuring accurate documentation and smooth communication with clients
• Tracking submissions and providing follow-up updates
Ideal candidate:
• Experience with Social Security benefit filings or prior SSA work
• Detail-oriented, organized, and professional communication skills
• Understands how to guide clients through the initial application process efficiently
Compensation:
Paid per completed case, typically $150–$350 depending on complexity and experience.
