1. Kitchen Manager
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Kitchen Manager to oversee our back-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, passionate about food quality, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food preparation and cooking meets our high standards for quality and consistency.
Supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, to ensure all necessary ingredients and supplies are available while tracking kitchen finances to minimize waste.
Ensure strict compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment.
Proven experience in inventory management and staff scheduling.
2. Line Cooks
We are hiring skilled Line Cooks to prepare menu items according to our established recipes and quality standards. You will be responsible for a specific kitchen station, working efficiently to ensure timely service.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
Prepare and cook menu items (main dishes, sides, etc.) to order, following precise recipes and presentation standards.
Work collaboratively with the culinary team and servers to ensure smooth and timely service flow.
Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout shifts, including cleaning equipment and utensils at the end of shifts.
Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role, preferably in a soul food or high-volume restaurant environment.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
3. Prep Cooks
We are seeking reliable and efficient Prep Cooks to support our kitchen staff in daily food preparation tasks. This role is essential for maintaining smooth kitchen operations and ensuring a consistent supply of ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete all tasks on the daily prep list created by the Kitchen Manager or Head Chef.
Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, peeling, and measuring fruits, vegetables, and meats according to recipes.
Label, stock, and organize all ingredients in storage areas and on shelves, ensuring proper rotation and storage to maintain freshness.
Perform basic cooking duties.
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
Assist with inventory management, monitoring stock levels and collaborating with staff for resupply.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred, but willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic cooking utensils.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
Good physical stamina and ability to work in a busy environment.
Knowledge of health and safety guidelines.
Reliability and a positive, team-player attitude.
