Description:
S. Wieder Architect PC is seeking a motivated 3D Printing Intern to support our design team with model fabrication and workflow setup. This is a great opportunity for a student or early-stage designer looking to gain hands-on experience with architectural 3D printing, model preparation, and production.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare 3D models for printing
• Slice, set up, and run prints on printers
• Maintain and troubleshoot 3D printers
• Post-process printed models (cleanup, assembly, finishing)
• Assist design team with model iterations and presentation pieces
• Organize materials, tools, and printing schedule
Requirements:
• Basic experience with 3D printers (school or personal projects is okay)
• Interest in architecture, design, fabrication, or model-making
• Attention to detail + willingness to learn
• Reliable, organized, and able to follow workflows
Hours & Pay:
• Part-time (flexible hours)
• In-office in Brooklyn
