Jordanâs Pet Care (JPC) is a woman-owned, Brooklyn-based business that has been caring for animals and supporting the community since 2010. We pride ourselves on offering compassionate, reliable, and thoughtful pet care while fostering an inclusive, respectful environment for our team.
Weâre currently looking for 1â2 caring and responsible dog walkers/pet sitters to work MondayâThursday (or Fridays) between approximately 10amâ6pm and also for our weekend position on Saturdays AND Sundays will ideally some weekday fill in and overnight dog sitting. There are also frequent opportunities to pick up evening visits, weekend walks, and overnight pet sitting for additional pay.
Youâll be a great fit if you:
*Truly love animals and are comfortable caring for cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments
*Are reliable, communicative, and friendly
*Enjoy being active and outdoors in all types of weather
*Have strong time management skills and can work independently
*Are interested in being part of a supportive and positive team
Requirements:
*Consistent availability MonâThu or M-F (10â6)
*Ability to walk 5â8 hours/day
*Comfort giving cats and dogs lots of love, structure, and attention
*Willing and able to take occasional overnight pet sitting jobs
*Must be able to legally work in the U.S. â all pay is on the books
*Able to commit to the position for at least 9 months
*Must live in Brooklyn or very close by (walking/commuting reliability matters)
A plus (not required):
*Experience with animal handling, vet, grooming, shelter/rescue, dog training, etc.
