High-End Kosher Steakhouse
Meat NY, a premier upscale kosher restaurant in Brooklyn, is seeking a polished, experienced Front of House Manager to join our leadership team. We’re looking for someone organized, hospitality-driven, and capable of maintaining the elevated guest experience our restaurant is known for.
🔹 Responsibilities Include:
• Administrative and computer-based tasks, including inventory management, scheduling, Excel spreadsheets, and general FOH operational support
• Proficiency with the Toast operating system
• Updating menus, photos, and details through the SpotHopper platform
• Menu creation, layout, and in-house printing
• Supervising and coaching FOH staff to uphold exceptional service standards
• Supporting hosts with reservations, guest communication, and phone inquiries
• Training hosts, servers, and support staff on procedures, service flow, and customer engagement
• Greeting and assisting guests during high-volume periods
• Creating and maintaining FOH work schedules
• Ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and cleanliness regulations
• Monitoring restaurant performance and contributing to profitability through regular review of financial reports
• Managing suppliers, inventory oversight, and cash register accuracy
• Collaborating with management on recruiting and hiring FOH team members
• Developing written tests for menu knowledge and service procedures; conducting regular staff evaluations
• Learning the in-house wine selection and effectively describing and upselling to guests
• Maintaining a warm, professional presence on the floor to ensure a seamless and memorable dining experience
🔹 Ideal Candidate:
• Has previous FOH management experience in a high-end or fast-paced restaurant
• Is detail-oriented, organized, and strong with systems and technology
• Exhibits leadership, professionalism, and strong communication skills
• Thrives in a hospitality-driven environment and knows how to elevate guest satisfaction
• Has a strong understanding of service standards and can train others to meet them
