Position Summary:
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented CNC Operator with experience in wood manufacturing to run and maintain our CNC machinery (primarily Homag/Weeke equipment). This role is ideal for someone who understands the intricacies of custom cabinet production and takes pride in craftsmanship and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC routers to cut, drill, and shape components per CAD/CAM files
- Load programs and set up tooling/fixtures based on production specs
- Inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy to design
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment
- Communicate effectively with project managers, draftsmen, and production staff
- Troubleshoot machine issues and contribute to process improvement
Requirements:
- 2+ years of CNC experience, ideally in a woodworking or millwork setting
- Familiarity with imos, WoodWOP, or similar CAD/CAM software a plus
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction and materials
- Ability to read technical drawings and work with tight tolerances
- Mechanically inclined and tech-savvy
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
