Job Summary:
Homery.com is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Sales Order Entry Representative to support our high-volume appliance sales operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate order processing, clear customer communication, and seamless coordination across sales, logistics, and warehouse teams.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced appliance environment, is comfortable handling phone-based orders, and has hands-on experience working within an ERP system—specifically Odoo.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process customer orders via phone in a professional and service-driven manner
Accurately enter and manage sales orders in Odoo ERP, ensuring data integrity and completeness
Review orders for pricing accuracy, promotions, product availability, and correct SKUs
Confirm order specifications, delivery details, payment terms, and timelines with customers
Communicate order status updates, changes, delays, or issues to customers and internal teams
Coordinate closely with Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and Shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
Respond to customer inquiries regarding appliances, order status, lead times, and delivery schedules
Maintain and update customer, builder, and trade partner records within Odoo
Follow Homery’s internal order processing procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance
Assist with internal reporting, order summaries, and operational documentation as needed
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
2–3 years of experience in order entry, customer service, sales support, or appliance-related industries preferred
Hands-on experience using Odoo ERP (or similar ERP systems) required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
High attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume order environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive customer and payment information with discretion
Highly organized, punctual, self-motivated, and adaptable
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, in-person office setting
Customer-first mindset with the ability to remain professional under pressure
