GoCoding is looking for a Programming Instructor to work with children and teens aged 8–16.
We are not looking for a “lecturer.” We are looking for someone who can code and can communicate. Strong communication skills are just as important as technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Teach on-site programming classes using GoCoding’s ready-made lesson plans
- Work with students aged 8–16
Teach one or more of the following:
1)Python
2)Unity
3)Math
- Chess (a plus, not required)
- Conduct trial lessons
- Participate in student retention activities
If you are not familiar with all platforms, we provide training.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of at least one programming language or platform listed above
- Real programming experience (projects, education, or commercial experience)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with children
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way
- High level of English
- Ability to work on-site in Brooklyn
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule:
Tue, Wed, Fri — 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Sat, Sun — 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Compensation:
From $3,200/month (fixed base)
