Established General Contractor seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Draftsperson to produce construction drawings and shop drawings using AutoCAD. This position supports active residential and commercial projects and works closely with project managers and field teams.
Responsibilities:
• Create, revise, and maintain accurate construction and shop drawings in AutoCAD
• Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP plans
• Review and work from project specifications and markups
• Coordinate drawings with existing conditions and field measurements
• Assist with as-built drawings and revisions as projects progress
• Maintain organized digital drawing files and documentation
• Communicate with project managers to clarify design intent and scope
Requirements:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting required)
• Ability to read and understand construction documents and specifications
• Working knowledge of basic building materials and construction methods
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Prior experience in construction, architecture, or engineering preferred
• Must be dependable and professional

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
