Job Description:
Learning- is seeking highly motivated, experienced college-level tutors to work with students ages 12–18. Tutors will support middle and high school students across a range of learning levels and academic needs. This role is ideal for education-focused college students and emerging professionals passionate about youth development and academic excellence.
Tutors will provide structured, engaging instruction in Math, Reading, Writing, and Sciences, with opportunities to support specialized subject areas.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring for middle and high school students
Support students in Math, ELA (Reading & Writing), and Science subjects
Develop lesson plans aligned with student academic goals
Track student progress and communicate effectively with program staff
Maintain a professional, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled college students (international students welcome to apply)
Minimum 3 years of tutoring or academic support experience
Ability to tutor high school-level Math, ELA, and Sciences
Subject expertise preferred in:
Chemistry
Creative Writing
Advanced Math or Science disciplines
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Availability Required:
Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Sundays: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
