DELI PRO WANTED — Gourmet Deli | Downtown Brooklyn
The Gig: Part-time breakfast & lunch deli position with real growth potential — master our coffee program and this could go full-time fast.
Who We're Looking For:
A seasoned deli pro who thrives in the rush. You've got 3+ years on the line (deli/grill/slicer), you move fast without breaking a sweat, and you know that great service is just as important as a perfect sandwich.
What You'll Do:
- Run the grill, slicer, and breakfast/lunch rush like a boss
- Handle POS/register with ease
- Keep inventory tight and prep smart
- Close out strong — end-of-day prep & cleanup
- (Eventually) Pull espresso shots that keep regulars coming back
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years deli/grill experience (breakfast & lunch)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (SSN required)
- Team player energy in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Points:
- Food Handler's Cert
- Coffee/espresso experience (we'll train)
- Brooklyn local — you know the neighborhood
