Responsibilites Managing the porter team and overall cleanliness of facilities; Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures. Receives and/or oversees receipt of all product daily, distributes the product and keeps all storage spaces clean and organized Oversee event set-up serving as the liaison with all event vendors Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed: plumbing, electrical, hvac, fire alarm, painting, carpentry Management of HVAC system: oversee maintenance contract, filter changes & daily testing Management of plumbing systems: jetting drains, grease traps, general maintenance Annual PA inspections: preparation, readiness including testing emergency lights Fire Alarm compliance and upkeep: always in good working order and all necessary testing performed to meet local and state regulations Overseeing pest control - addressing issues with pest control companies as they arise Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff Weekly rooftop review for leaks or damage Maintain A/V equipment & perform set-up of A/V equipment when needed Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions, including snow removal and salting Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs Operates and maintains custodial functions. Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly Manages and reviews service contracts. Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections. Checks completed work by vendors and contractors. Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications. Kitchen Equipment basic maintenance and cleaning, including but not limited to blowing out compressors monthly and changing refrigeration seals Acting as point person for all maintenance and repair onsite Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility management.
