Are you looking for a steady, high-volume delivery opportunity? We are hiring reliable 1099 Independent Contractors for retail package delivery. We offer consistent, year-round work with daily routes departing from our centralized Queens location, delivering throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan.
💰 Earning Potential
We offer competitive, performance-based pay. While your weekly earnings depend on your vehicle size, efficiency, and stops completed, after our 17% commission our drivers earn between $800 and $1,300 weekly.
Pay Structure (Per Stop):
AM Shift (Starts 9:00 AM):
Manhattan: $2.00 per stop (Average 100–150+ stops)
Brooklyn: $1.30 per stop (Average 100–150+ stops)
PM Shift (Starts 3:00 PM):
Brooklyn: $2.00 per stop (Average 25–30 stops)
Note: We pay per stop, not per package. You are paid weekly via direct deposit every Tuesday.
🚐 Vehicle Requirements & Rental Option
Preferred: Cargo Vans, Sprinter Vans, Minivans, or SUVs.
Acceptable: Sedans.
Don't have your own vehicle? We have 4 company vehicles available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. If you need a vehicle to get started, please let us know immediately to check availability.
📦 Key Responsibilities
Professional Delivery: All packages must be delivered to the customer’s door. We strictly do not leave packages in lobbies.
Reliability: Poor delivery performance (e.g., packages lost/not received) results in a $20 assessment fee per incident.
Efficiency: You will be covering a focused 4–10 block radius, allowing for efficient routing.
📋 Important Financial Information
Independent Contractor (1099): Taxes are not withheld. You are responsible for your own tax filings.
Weekly Driver Fee ($47.50): This covers your essential operational costs:
Occupational Insurance ($23)
Cargo Insurance ($7)
Access to the Ontrac App ($17.50) — This gives you optimized daily routing, barcode scanning, and proof-of-delivery photo capabilities.
