Greenpoint Fish & Lobster Co. was built by a team of 5th generation Fishmongers who carry a philosophy of balance by providing clean, high quality and sustainable seafood to friends and neighbors of Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Starting back in 2014, the demand has since grown and products can now be found anywhere from the kitchen’s of local fish-loving friends to the counters of Michelin Star Chefs. We are currently looking for passionate individuals who want to grow with us!
Position Summary
The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression for guests while managing the flow of service in a fast-paced, high-volume seafood restaurant. This role coordinates reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists while ensuring efficient seating and maintaining exceptional hospitality standards.
Hours allow for an easy work/life balance. A great position for individuals who have an interest in learning about sustainable seafood. Experience working in FOH are required. Hours vary, with an opportunity to start part time and move into full time.
The restaurant is open from 12PM to 9PM or 10PM everyday. Host is an hourly plus tipped position.
