Muslim Chaplain / Imam – Contract Opportunity (15 hrs per week)
Visionnaire Tech Connect LLC is seeking a qualified Muslim Chaplain (Imam) to provide Islamic religious services under a government contract. The chaplain will support Muslim individuals by providing religious guidance, leading prayers, and offering spiritual counseling in accordance with Islamic teachings.
Responsibilities
Lead weekly Jumu’ah (Friday) prayers and other approved Islamic services.
Provide spiritual counseling and religious guidance to Muslim participants.
Facilitate Islamic study sessions, khutbahs, and religious education when required.
Provide pastoral care and support in accordance with Islamic principles.
Maintain a respectful and professional relationship with facility staff and participants.
Ensure services are conducted in accordance with institutional policies and government regulations.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Islamic theology, Qur’an, and Sunnah.
Experience serving as an Imam, Muslim Chaplain, or Islamic religious leader.
Ability to lead congregational prayers and deliver khutbahs.
Strong communication and counseling skills.
Ability to work in a professional institutional environment (correctional facility, hospital, or government institution).
Must be able to pass background checks required for government facilities.
Preferred
Formal Islamic education or certification.
Prior chaplaincy or community leadership experience.
