💰 Paid $20 to $25 an hour + performance bonuses

Position Overview
We are seeking motivated, outgoing, and reliable canvassers to collect signatures for a ballot access petition.
This role is essential to ensuring our campaign qualifies for the ballot and gives voters more choices in the upcoming election.
Key Responsibilities
Collect valid signatures from registered voters within the designated district
Engage respectfully with community members in high-traffic areas, grocery stores, subway platforms, parks, and maybe some door-to-door settings
Clearly explain the purpose of the petition (ballot access, not a vote)
Ensure all petition forms are completed accurately and legibly
Follow all local and state election laws regarding petitioning
Meet daily and weekly signature collection goals
Maintain a professional, positive, and energetic presence while representing the campaign
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable approaching and speaking with the general public
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Detail-oriented and organized
Prior canvassing, sales, or community outreach experience is a plus (not required)
Must be eligible to collect signatures under state election law (typically 18+ and a registered voter)
Schedule & Commitment
Flexible shifts (typically 3–5 hours per shift)
Weekday morning from 7am to 10am evenings 4pm to 8pm
Weekends 8am to 12pm(noon), 12pm(noon) to 4pm, 4pm to 8pm
Short-term role through petition deadline May 19th, 2026
