Our company provides essential medical equipment and services including orthopedic and diabetic footwear, prosthetics, mastectomy products, hearing aids, and other specialized medical supplies. Qualifications:
Submit and manage claims for Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance plans
Verify patient eligibility and insurance benefits
Obtain and track prior authorizations for DME items
Ensure compliance with insurance guidelines and documentation requirements
Follow up on denied or pending claims and resolve billing issues
Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers
Maintain accurate patient and billing records
Work closely with internal team to ensure proper documentation (CMNs, prescriptions, medical necessity, etc.)
Experience in DME billing REQUIRED (orthopedic shoes, prosthetics, or similar preferred)
Strong knowledge of:
Medicare guidelines
Medicaid billing processes
Experience with prior authorizations and eligibility verification
Familiarity with HCPCS codes, modifiers, and documentation requirements
Experience with prosthetics, diabetic footwear, or specialized DME
Bilingual (English/Russian/Spanish) is a plus
