Sushi Chef – Temakase Hand Roll Bar
Compensation: $20+ per hour (based on experience)

Temakase is looking for a skilled and reliable Sushi Chef to join our team. We are a hand roll-focused concept built around quality, consistency, and a strong guest experience. We value clean execution, attention to detail, and a calm, professional kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare high-quality fish, rice, and ingredients for daily service
-Execute hand rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other sushi preparations with consistency
-Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the sushi station
-Ensure proper food handling and storage standards
-Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team during service
-Assist with prep, inventory, and maintaining product quality standards
Qualifications:
-Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Cook required
-Strong knife skills and understanding of fish handling
-Knowledge of sushi rice preparation and traditional techniques
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Punctual, professional, and team-oriented
-Weekend and evening availability preferred
-Spanish speaking is a plus
