Part and Full time positions are available in our upscale, vintage, furniture, art and lighting design store/prop rental showroom in Brooklyn. We are seeking a dynamic, professional, dependable, organized individual to handle sales and logistics on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) - one who has design sales experience in a retail store/showroom environment. This job requires focus and aptitude for sales with attention to detail for a unique vintage inventory. Weekdays this posisiton includes follow-up, customer service, logistics, inventory control, research, copywriting, changing of visual installations and care of furniture, lighting and objects of a one-of-a-kind and rare nature. This job includes the weekend.
Design retail sales experience is required.
Design background including knowledge of 20th century design esthetics, periods and designers is necessary.
Knowledge of antiques is a plus.
