Seasonal Expeditor (Expo) – Red Hook Lobster Pound Red Hook Lobster Pound is looking for a strong, experienced Expo to join the team for our busiest season of the year. This is a fast-paced NYC restaurant environment — high volume, high energy, and team-driven. We need someone who can stay cool under pressure, move with urgency, communicate clearly with both kitchen and front of house, and keep service running smoothly when the line is slammed. We’re a busy seasonal seafood spot with packed weekends, major holiday rushes, and nonstop summer traffic. Experience in a high-volume restaurant is required. Schedule Requirements This is a part-time seasonal position with required availability: Friday nights All day Saturday All day Sunday All major summer holidays are mandatory work days, including: Memorial Day Weekend + Memorial Day Monday Juneteenth Father's Day July 4th Weekend Labor Day Weekend + Labor Day Monday Additional promotional weeks and high-volume events throughout the season will also require availability, including a full event week at the beginning of October What We’re Looking For Previous expo experience in a busy restaurant Strong communication and organization skills Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy under pressure Attention to detail and sense of urgency Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset Compensation Expo participates in the tip pool starting at 3% of tips earned during your shifts, with opportunity to increase to 4% based on performance, consistency, and reliability.
