Senior Trial Attorney Requirements & Qualificions
J.D. from an accredited law schoolActive New York Bar admission6+ years of litigion experienceSignificant insurance defense experience requiredTrial experience (first-chair or substantial second-chair) strongly preferredExperience with labor law, construction accident, or personal injury mters preferredProven ability to independently manage a full litigion caseloadStrong deposition, courtroom, and motion practice skillsExcellent writing, communicion, and stregic case management abilities
Senior Trial Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Independently manage complex litigion mters from inception through verdict or resolutionServe as first-chair or strong second-chair in trial mters, handling high-exposure and castrophic injury casesConduct and defend a variety of depositions (fact, expert, corpore, plaintiff)Attend court appearances, hearings, oral arguments, conferences, mediions, and arbitrionsDraft and argue dispositive motions, including summary judgment motionsEvalue liability, damages, and exposure for settlement purposesCommunice directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counselMentor and support junior associesMaintain accure billing and carrier reporting
