Confidant Hospitality is now hiring passionate and hardworking Line Cooks for Confidant. We are searching for a team member who can work in a small fast-paced environment, are talented in multiple areas, can learn quickly, take on a large amount of responsibility, work as a team, and ensure our cuisine is prepared to the standard. Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and organize all mise en place for your station to ensure seamless service.
Manage your station during service, delivering high-quality ingredients and components in a timely and efficient manner.
Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to both NYC DOH regulations and our own high standards of hygiene and safety.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of relevant restaurant experience in a similar role.
Thorough knowledge and application of NYC DOH sanitation standards.
A positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to follow directions and work collaboratively.
Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for 8-10 hours a day, including standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 20 lbs.
Flexibility to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
*Must have or be willing to obtain food certification.
