We’re looking for an Acupuncturist, interested in partnership, working in the assisted living setting as a per-diem employee. Mentoring, training, simple documentation, great communication, and an amazing work culture all contribute to a working experience that you’ll look forward to when the alarm clock rings!
Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited Acupuncture program or university
- Valid professional license and registration for state of NY
- Must be a Healthcare provider with insurances. Such as VNS, UnitedHealthCare, Elderplan, Riverspring, HealthFirst, Fidelis, Wellcare, Etc.
Responsibilites:
- Complete evaluations, daily notes, weekly progress notes, re-certifications, and discharge documentation in a timely manner and in accordance to CMS guidelines
- Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the physician
- Supervise assistants as requested by DOR
- Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care
- Adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times
