We are seeking a creative and compassionate professional to join our Recreation Department, working with residents in our TBI Neuro Behavioral Program. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone passionate about education, mental health, and therapeutic engagement.DUTIES:Assess residents’ cognitive and functional levelsPlan and implement educational and cognitively stimulating programsLead group and one-on-one sessions tailored to individual needs and abilitiesSupport residents with cognitive, mental health, and physical disabilitiesCollaborate with interdisciplinary staff to enhance quality of life through structured programmingMaintain appropriate documentation and progress notesREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Services, Psychology, Human Development, Mental Health, or a related field preferredExperience working with individuals with cognitive or behavioral challenges is a plusStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCreative, empathetic, and team-oriented approachMust be reliable, organized, and motivated to engage residents in meaningful activitiesAbout us:Richmond Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is a 372-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in the borough of Staten Island.
