🐩 We are a boutique Brooklyn pet care company known for reliability, professionalism, and genuine care for animals.
We are not an app and we are not gig work. Many of our clients have worked with the same our sitters for years, so we value team members who enjoy building trusted relationships with pets and their families. 🐾
We are looking for a reliable local pet care provider who lives in Bushwick, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Crown Heights or Cypress Hill (You will work in all these areas)
This is a part-time position with an 8-month contract. Ideal for someone who lives nearby and wants steady supplemental income while pursuing their own goals.

Job Includes
• Dog walking (weekdays 8 AM – 4/5 PM and some weekends)
- Walking medium and large dogs confidently and safely
• Cat sitting visits (8 AM – 9 PM depending on schedule)
- Caring for cats and occasionally other small pets such as rabbits or guinea pigs
• Sending visit updates with photos through our pet care app
• handling multiple keys, picking up and dropping off from lockboxes or Clients.
We are primarily looking to fill the day shift between 8 AM – 4/5 PM. If you are available for additional hours outside of that window, there will be opportunities for more work.
You will receive two days off each week, though the days will rotate based on scheduling needs and client bookings.

Requirements
• Must be comfortable with both dogs and cats - you will care for both
• Must live in Bushwick, Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights or Cypress Hill - will work in all areas
• Must be able to commit for 8-months minimum - a contract will be signed.
• Must have a bike, e-bike, scooter, or car (no citi bike or public transportation)
• Must not be allergic to animals
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Must be reliable and able to follow instructions carefully

🎄 Holiday Availability
Holidays are our busiest time of year, as many clients travel and rely on us to care for their pets.
Pet Care Providers should expect to be available during the following major holidays:
• Labor Day Weekend
• Columbus Day
• Veterans Day
• Thanksgiving Week / Weekend
• Christmas Week / Weekend
• New Year’s Eve Day
and all other holidays that happen within the 8 month contract.
These periods are some of the highest demand times for pet care services and provide the opportunity for increased assignments and holiday pay.

📄 Independent Contractor Status
This is an independent contractor position (1099).
Pet Care Providers operate as independent service providers and assignments are based on their availability (morning / afternoon shift).
A background check and independent contractor contract agreement are required before beginning work.
We are looking for providers who can commit to a minimum of 8 months.
Earnings
Most team members earn $250 – $500 per week, with higher earnings up to $700+ during peak holiday periods.
Pay is per visit ($12 – $16). Sitters who complete multiple visits in a route typically average about $22 per active working hour. Travel time not included.
Pet Care Providers are paired on routes with dogs and cats who live close to each other to keep routes efficient.
The more visits you take on and complete reliably, the more you earn.
This is supplemental income, not a full-time salary.
