7 Leaf Clover is looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, hardworking Budtender / Retail Operations Associate for our Williamsburg dispensary.
This is not a job where you simply stand behind a counter and ring up cannabis products.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their job, notices what needs to be done without constantly being told, treats customers exceptionally well, and wants to learn how a successful retail cannabis business actually operates.
For the right person, there is significant room to grow. We prefer to promote from within, and this position can develop into full-time work and eventually management or specialized roles in retail operations, administration, marketing, inventory, or finance.

MUST HAVE RETAIL, RESTAURANT OR SUPERMARKET EXPERIENCE

CANNABIS KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED
Applicants must already have a solid working knowledge of cannabis products. Interest in plant medicine, psychedelics, wellness, alternative modalities & energy medicine is a big bonus!
You should be comfortable discussing and explaining products such as:
Flower and pre-rolls
Vapes
Edibles
Concentrates
Cannabinoids and product effects
Different consumption methods
Basic dosing considerations
Product differences and recommendations
You do not need to know every product we carry on your first day, but you must already have a strong cannabis knowledge base and be genuinely interested in continuing to learn.
You should be able to listen to what a customer is looking for, ask intelligent questions and confidently help them select appropriate products.
THE JOB
Your responsibilities will include customer service and sales as well as the day-to-day work required to keep the dispensary operating properly, including:
Greeting and assisting customers
Making knowledgeable product recommendations
POS transactions
Upselling and educating customers
Stocking and merchandising
Receiving and organizing inventory
Maintaining accurate pricing and displays
Keeping the sales floor, counters and back-of-house areas clean and organized
Opening and closing responsibilities
Following all store procedures and cannabis compliance requirements
Completing assigned operational tasks
Helping coworkers when the store is busy
Identifying things that need attention without waiting for a manager to tell you

SCHEDULE — PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
This position requires 3 FULL DAYS of availability per week.
You must:
Be available Fridays and Saturdays
Have availability for late-night/evening shifts
Be able to work full shifts
Have a schedule that allows you to reliably maintain your committed availability

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
You must be able to:
Stand and work on your feet for 10+ hour shifts
Lift and carry at least 25 lbs
Stock shelves, move merchandise and perform normal physical retail duties throughout a shift
COMPENSATION & GROWTH
Starting pay: $20/hour
