Fritz Cocktail Bar is seeking an experienced full-time bartender who takes pride in great cocktails, thoughtful hospitality, and running an organized, efficient bar.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves the craft of bartending — someone who cares about technique, balance, consistency, spirits, prep, and all the details that go into making a great cocktail program work.
With our busy fall and holiday season ahead, it’s an exciting time to join Fritz and grow with our team long term.
The Role
Full-time • Approximately 5 shifts per week
You’ll be scheduled primarily at Fritz Cocktail Bar, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts at our Black Forest Brooklyn locations as they become available.
You’ll prepare high-quality cocktails with consistency and speed while taking ownership of the bar throughout your shift — from setup and prep to batching, organization, stocking, and closing.
We’re looking for someone who notices what needs to be done and takes care of it: keeping pars where they should be, making sure the bar is fully prepared before service, maintaining standards throughout the night, and setting up the next shift for success.
Responsibilities
Prepare consistently excellent cocktails with speed and attention to detail
Execute cocktails according to recipes and established standards
Set up and fully stock the bar before service
Complete daily prep, syrups, garnishes, and batching accurately and consistently
Monitor pars and communicate inventory and prep needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar throughout service
Deliver warm, engaging hospitality to guests
Support teammates wherever needed to keep service running smoothly
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and DOH standards
Help foster a positive, professional, team-oriented culture
What We’re Looking For
Strong cocktail bartending experience in a quality bar or restaurant
Genuine interest in cocktails, spirits, technique, and the craft of bartending
Pride in prep, organization, consistency, and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done
Calm, efficient, and organized under pressure
Professional, reliable, and accountable
Positive attitude and strong teamwork
Interest in growing and taking on additional responsibility over time
