A Social Adult Day Center in Brooklyn, NY 11207 is looking for a reliable Prep Cook / Kitchen Worker to join our team.
Requirements:
-Food Safety Certificate (MANDATORY)
-Previous kitchen experience
-Basic knowledge of English
-Knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements
-Ability to properly store, prepare, portion, and handle food
-Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
-Responsible, detail-oriented, and punctual
-Ability to work well as part of a team
Responsibilities:
-Prepare food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
-Cutting, portioning, plating, and serving food
-Assist with meal distribution
-Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, equipment, and kitchen areas
-Monitor proper food storage and temperatures
-Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety requirements
A Food Protection / Food Safety Certificate is MANDATORY
