Seeking a Director of Social Services
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Salary: $70 - 78,000 Annually
Employment Type: Full-Time
NYC DHS-funded shelter program.
Responsibilities:
Supervise Case Managers, Housing Specialists, and social services staff.
Oversee case management, ILPs, housing placements, and client services.
Ensure compliance with NYC DHS policies and regulations.
Monitor documentation, incident reports, and program performance.
Coordinate with DHS representatives and shelter leadership.
Qualifications:
Higher degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 3–5 years of NYC DHS shelter experience.
Strong supervisory and leadership experience.
Knowledge of CARES, ILPs, CityFHEPS, and shelter operations.
