SPECIALTY FOOD PRODUCTS BRAND LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO MANAGE WEEKLY FARMERS MARKET TABLES AROUND NEW YORK CITY. WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING SOMEONE TO MANAGE, MERCHANDISE AND SELL/SAMPLE PRODUCTS AT OUR WEEKLY MARKET TABLES IN BROOKLYN AND MANHATTAN. HOURS ARE FROM 6:30AM-4:00PM (ROUGHLY), EVERY WEEK, YEAR-ROUND.
REQUIREMENTS (non-negotiable)
*Drivers LIC/clean driving record.
*Available for weekly markets, year-round (this is a long term position).
*Comfortable with the outdoor elements (rain/cold/hot/snow/etc).
*Proficient in English (non-negotiable).
JOB DESCRIPTION
*Driving around New York City (must be comfortable).
*Loading and Unloading products and props (lifting up to 40-50lbs).
*Engaging with customers all day long.
*Setting up and breaking down tables, canopy, signage, products, weights (lifting up to 40-50lbs).
*Handing out samples of selected products (selected weekly).
*Educating customers on how to use products at home. Recipe sharing, explaining products' nutritional value and brand's core philosophy regarding sourcing methods and clean home cooking practices, etc.
*Able to handle Square (merchant processing app) and digital pay apps (apple pay, tap to pay).
*Merchandising products for display throughout the day at market from set up to breakdown.
Training will be provided regardless of experience.
