Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at Sweet Catch Restaurant. The ideal candidate has a passion for high-quality food, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and can consistently execute dishes with precision and care. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and supporting the overall flow of kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, cook, and present food items according to Sweet Catch recipes and quality standards
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before and during service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen
• Ensure food is cooked to proper temperatures and follows food safety guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and kitchen efficiency
• Assist with prep work and daily kitchen tasks as needed
• Communicate effectively with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams
• Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation of all menu items
• Adapt to a high-volume environment with a positive, team-first attitude
• Support inventory control by properly storing ingredients and minimizing waste
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in high-volume or fast-casual dining
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Strong knife skills and proficiency on the line (grill, fryer, sauté, etc.)
• Ability to take direction, work independently, and stay organized under pressure
• Must be dependable, punctual, and passionate about cooking
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
