- Kombucha brewery seeking brewer's assistant position to be filled immediately
- Part time (16-20 hrs/week) with potential to expand to full time
- Must have some commercial brewing experience
- On-the-job apprenticeship and learning
- Food handlers' license preferred
- Flexible hours preferred
Job description
- Assist with brewing and canning
- Clean and sanitize fermentation tanks, brewing vessels, and equipment
- Process raw ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the brewery
- Maintain inventory
- Load/unload deliveries, assist with storage and cold room organization
- Opportunity to work in a start-up environment with a small team
Requirements
- Must drink kombucha
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to stand, crouch, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Must be able to follow safety protocols and cleaning procedures
